Chizhov
Born in Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region. In 2015 graduated from the Sveshnikov Choral College, choral conducting (Andrei Gerasimenko’s class), in 2021 — from the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA Moscow), musical theatre. Then he studied at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre (Makvala Kasrashvili’s class).
Starting out his training as a tenor, he sung the parts of Lensky (Eugene Onegin), Young Gypsy (Aleko), Court Boyar (Boris Godunov). He also performed at the Popov Academy of Choral Art Opera Studio as Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro).
Vladislav Chizhov was a soloist at the Alexander Sveshnikov State Academic Russian Choir and Sretensky Monastery Choir.
Since December 2023 has been an apprentice with the opera troupe of the Bolshoi Theatre. At the Bolshoi Theatre debuted as Dancairo (Carmen), in 2024.
