Сергей Топтыгин


Sergey Toptygin was born in Moscow, graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory (professor A. Loshak`s class). He is a diploma winner of the International Vocal Competition in Moscow (1997), a Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2007).

Since 1996 Sergey Toptygin has been a soloist of Helikon-Opera. He also takes a regular part in the concert programs directed by G. Rozhdestvensky. He has a wide song, oratorio and chamber repertoire. He performed the part of Tamerlane in the world premiere of the opera The Legend of the City Yelets, the Virgin Mary and Tamerlane by A. Tchaikovsky (Yelets, 2011). He took part in the Festival “Bartok+” (Hungary), “Birgitta” (Estonia), the Festival of the Russian music in Cannes (France).
