Станислав Трофимов


Stanislav Trofimov began his operatic career in the Chelyabinsk Opera House in 2008, he then very quickly moved on to perform the leading bass roles at the Ekaterinburg Opera house, then the Bolshoi Theatre and other Opera Theatres in Russia.

Since 2015, he has been frequently performing at the Mariinsky Theatre and in 2016 became a soloist of this theatre. Some of his signature roles include Boris Godunov, Philipp II (Don Carlos), Fiesco (Simon Boccanegra), Konchak (Prince Igor), Ivan Susanin (A Life for the Tsar), Sobakin (The Tsar’s Bride), Prince Yuri Vsevolodovich (The Legend of the Invisible City of Kitezh and the Maiden Fevronia), Gremin (Eugene Onegin), Don Bartolo (Le nozze di Figaro), Daland (Der fliegende Holländer).

Trofimov has performed on numerous occasions with maestro Valery Gergiev, Tugan Sokhiev, Michael Güttler, Evgeny Nikitin, Olga Borodina.

In 2013, he took part in gala concert Young voices of Bolshoi on Historic Stage of Bolshoi Theatre. In 2014, he appeared as Pimen (Mussorgsky`s Boris Godunov) and Archbishop (Tchaikovsky’s The Maid of Orleans, concert performance, conducted by Tugan Sokhiev).
