Festival to commemorate 180th anniversary of Pyotr Iliych Tchaikovsky will be held from September to December on all stages of the Bolshoi Theatre. Program includes four operas, five ballets and five concert programs. The Queen of Spades staged by Rimas Tuminas (16 – 20 September, conductor – Tugan Sokhiev) will open the program.

After a long break, the creative team of The Bolshoi theatre returns to work on native stages!
Despite many difficulties, in the 245th season we are going to present three ballet and seven opera premieres, festivals, concerts in the Philharmonic, tours to Europe and South America (Argentina), and host the international Yuri Grigorovich ballet Competition on our stages. Everything that The Bolshoi did not manage to implement due to lockdown in 244th season will be implemented in the next two years.
