Born in Moscow. In 1986 graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory (class of Irina Arkhipova).

In 1993 was accepted into the opera troupe of the Bolshoi Theatre.

Performed at the Paris National Opera, the Berlin State Opera, the San Francisco Opera, participated in the Verdi Opera Festival in Austria, the festival May Opera Evenings in Macedonia, the music festivals in Baku, Alma-Ata, Ashkhabad, Kazan and other cities. Toured in Japan, Canada, Denmark and Cyprus.
