Sergei Pisarev

In 2005–2011, he studied at the Solo Singing department of the Victor Popov Academy of Choral Art (Dmitry Vdovin’s class). In 2007-09 he attended the International Schools of Vocal Mastery (Moscow) and sang in the final concerts of the Schools at the Armory Chamber, the Rachmaninov Hall of the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory, and the concert hall of the Russian National Music Museum. He has performed in the Eberbach Monastery (Germany), Grand Theatre de Quebec (Canada), the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Roerich Museum, the Chaliapin Museum, the Grand Hall of the Gnessins Russian Academy of Music, the Grand Hall of the Russian Government House.

Sergey participated in a concert performance of Rossini’s Il viaggio a Reims (Chamber Hall of the Moscow International Performing Arts Centre), Hvorostovsky and Friends concert (Oktyabrsky Concert Hall in St. Petersburg). He sang the tenor part in Haydn’s Theresienmesse with Alexander Rudin’s Musica Viva orchestra at the 9th Posvyaschenie International Music Festival. He has toured in Japan, Mexico, USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, Canada, Belgium and Italy.

Since 2010, he has been a soloist of the art project The Tenors of the 21st Century.

In 2014-2017, he was a soloist at the Oper Leipzig (Germany), where he sang the leading parts in Gounod’s Faust, Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress, Verdi’s La Traviata, Donizetti’s Don Pasquale, Mozart’s Die Entführung aus dem Serail and others.

In 2019, he appeared as Alfredo in Verdi’s La Traviata at the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre. Since July 2020, he has been a soloist of the company.

Since 2023 — a soloist with the Nizhny Novgorod Opera and Ballet Theatre.

In November 2023 Sergei debuted at the Bolshoi Theatre in Salome (Second Jew).
