Biography

Russian choreographer and director, lighting director, ballet festivals and gala concerts art-director, show manager and organizer, cinema director in Russia, Europe and the USA.

In 2000 he became the only Russian dancer to win the Nederlands Dance Theatre competition of Jiri Kylián and get the right to lean and work there. While working in the NDT he participated in several performances and worked with several Netherland dance companies.

As a choreographer he produced more than 15 ballet performances, created more than 50 ballet pieces. He also staged such operas as Peer Gynt and Mermaid. He was a producer and an art-director of 10 dance projects in Russia, the Netherlands, Israel, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Finland ect. Among Dmitrievsky’s works are performances in Mariinsky theatre, Eifman Ballet, Ballet Moscow, Teatro di San Carlo, Novaya Opera theatre, Teatro Municipale Guiseppe Verdi ect. He was a director and a sound-producer of several films and theatre performances, was a member of the Jury panel on famous dance competitions and festivals.
