Biography
Was born in Stuttgart. He was director’s assistant in the Stuttgart Theater der Altstadt before entering the Freie Unviersitat Berlin where he studied theatre sciences, political sciences and comparative studies. After his activities as assistant at different theatres and festivals, he produces a number of interesting projects. Among his productions, Weill’s Mahagonny and Schubert Metamorphoses: Ancient Voices in Berlin, Super Bags (where the German and Ukrainian actors played together) and Schubert’s Die Winterreise in Tchernovtsy. He directed La Voix Humaine by Poulenc in Halberstadt and Das Wachsfi gurenkabinett in the Berlin Volskbuehne. In the Berlin State German Opera he was assistant with such directors as Peter Mussbach, Robert Wilson, Jossi Wieler, David Alden and Dmitri Tcherniakov (Boris Godunov, The Gambler).
