Born in Moscow. Graduated from the Russian Institute of Theatre Art in 2005 (faculty of music, faculty of directing and acting in musical theatre, studio of Raissa Nemchinskaya).
He has worked on productions of Janacek's The Diary of One Who Vanished at the Helikon Opera (2004, stage director and production designer), the opera duologue The Music Director (Salieri's Prima la musica, poi le parole and Mozart's Der Schauspieldirektor) at the Rostov State Music Theatre, (2004, stage director) and the musical The Umbrellas of Cherbourg at the Children's Musical Theatre Carambole (2009, stage director).
At the Mariynsky Theatre he has staged
Shostakovich's Moscow, Cheryomushki (2006, stage director and production designer)
Janacek's Jenufa (2007)
Berlioz's Benvenuto Cellini (2007)
Smelkov's The Brothers Karamazov (2008)
In 2010, he staged Die Fledermaus at the Bolshoi Theatre.
