Biography
Viktor Antipenko studied voice and choral conducting at the Glinka Choral College in St. Petersburg. While still a student, he took part in the recording of Prokofiev’s On Guard for Peace with Yuri Temirkanov. After graduation he joined the Mariinsky Theatre, performing as a choral and solo artist. In 2007 he graduated from the Saint Petersburg Conservatory.In
His credits include Don Jose in Bizet’s Carmen with the Allentown Symphony, Kodaly’s Psalmus Hungaricus with the New York Metamorphoses Orchestra, the roles of Shepherd and Sailor (Tristan und Isolde) and Malcolm (Macbeth) with Opera de Lyon.
