Awards

In 1974, she won 3rd prize at the Pyotr Tchaikovsky International Competition.
In 2001, she was awarded the Order of Honor.

Biography

After graduating from the Leningrad Conservatoire (N. Serval’s class), she joined the Leningrad Maly Opera Theatre Company.
She has been a soloist with The Bolshoi Theatre Opera Company since 1977.

Tours

She tours in Russia and abroad, makes regular concert appearances.
She took part in the Bolshoi Theatre and Teatro Carlo Felice (Genoa) co-production of Prince Igor singing the part of Konchakovna.
In 2005, she sang Countess in the premiere performances of The Queen of Spades at La Scala (conductor Yuri Temirkanov, director Stephen Medcalf). In the same year, she appeared at the Jan Kiepura Festival, in Poland.
