Onishchenko
Born in Odessa.
In 2010-2015 studied at the vocal department of the Odessa National Music Academy named after A.V. Nezhdanova (class Y.N. Butchka). In 2017-2019 continued his education at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien).
In 2015-2020 — has been a soloist with the Vienna State Opera, baritone. Performed the parts of Fiorello (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Silvio (Pagliacci), Schaunard (La bohème), Masetto (Don Giovanni), Spalanzani (Les contes d'Hoffmann), Cristiano (Un ballo in maschera) and others. Collaborated with maestro Riccardo Muti, with whom he also performed in Japan (Le nozze di Figaro) and in Italy (Pagliacci).
In 2016 debuted on the stage of the Teatro Municipal de Santiago in Chile, performing the leading part in the opera Le nozze di Figaro. Participated in the staging of the opera Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk at the Salzburg Festival under the direction of Mariss Jansons (2017). In 2018 debuted in the part of Don Giovanni (Don Giovanni) in the framework of the OperaFest Tulchyn.
In 2020 performed for the first time on the stage of the Tel Aviv Opera — in the part of Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia). In 2022 sang the leading part in the world premiere of the opera WIR by Anton Lubchenko (Theater Regensburg, Germany).
In the 2022-2023 season he has collaborated with the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre and began to perform parts of the tenor repertoire. In 2023 sang the part of Vaudémont (Iolanta) and German (The Queen of Spades) on the stage of the Voronezh State Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Since September 2023 — has been an artist with the Young Artists Opera Programme of the Bolshoi Theatre.
