Dinara Alieva

Born in Baku (Azerbaijan). In 2004 graduated from the Baku Academy of Music (class of Khuraman Kasimova).

In 2004-06 was a soloist at the Akhundov Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, where performed the parts of Leonora in Il Trovatore by G. Verdi, Violetta in La Traviata by G. Verdi and Mimi in La Bohème by G. Puccini.

In 2009 debuted at the Bolshoi Theatre as Liu (Turandot by G. Puccini).

Since 2010 has been a soloist with the opera troupe of the Bolshoi Theatre.

Performs on the stages of the major opera theatres around the globe, such as the Vienna State Opera, the Royal Opera in Covent Garden (London), the Paris National Opera, the Latvian National Opera, the Gran Teatre del Liceu (Barcelona), the Bavarian State Opera (Munich), the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Hamburg State Opera, the Frankfurt Opera, the State Theatre Klagenfurt (Austria), Teatro Regio (Parma), the Salerno Opera (Italy), Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie (Brussels), the Mikhailovsky Theatre, the China National Opera House (Beijing), New Israeli Opera. Performs too in concert venues: the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, the Megaron Concert Hall in Athens, the Smetana Concert Hall and the Rudolfinum (Prague), the Oktyabrskiy Concert Hall (St Petersburg) and many more.

Performed at Yuri Temirkanov’s festivals Christmas Meetings and the Arts Square, Prague Proms, Verdi Festival Parma, the Vladimir Spivakov International Music Festival in Colmar (France), Budapest Summer Festival on Margaret Island, Stars on Baikal International Music Festival and Denis Matsuev’s Crescendo, the Musical Olympus Festival at Carnegie Hall, Russian Seasons at Opera Monte Carlo, the Winter International Arts Festival in Sochi and Yuri Bashmet International Music Festival in Yaroslavl.

Dinara Alieva is a regular honoured guest of the Maria Callas memorial events in Athens.

Collaborated with such conductors as Yuri Temirkanov, Tugan Sokhiev, Vladimir Spivakov, Mikhail Pletnev, Dmitri Jurowski, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Alexander Sladkovsky, Yuri Bashmet, Constantine Orbelian, Pier Giorgio Morandi, Daniel Oren, Giacomo Sagripanti, Donald Runnicles, Emmanuel Villaume, Giuliano Carella, Giuseppe Sabbatini, Massimo Zanetti, Marcello Rota and many others.

Collaborated with world famous directors Hugo de Ana, Robert Wilson and Davide Livermore.

She is the founder of the Dinara Alieva International Music Festival OperaArt, which has taken place in Moscow since 2015.
