When planning your visit to the Bolshoi Theatre you may rest assured we take good care of your safety and comfort. The installation of closed-circuit TV cameras in and around the Theatre, the presence in the auditorium and foyer of our security staff, compulsory for customers and staff bag checks and metal detector procedures, are just some of the special measures we have initiated to guarantee your safety.
The New Stage has just one cloakroom - in the ground floor lobby.
No admittance to auditorium after curtain up.
Flowers, large bags, cameras and video cameras are not allowed in the auditorium.
Photography and the use of videos and tape recorders are forbidden in all parts of the theatre.
Children under the age of five are not admitted to performances. The House welcomes children from the age of five, with their own ticket, to morning performances, and to evening performances - from the age of ten.
The Management reserves the right to change the performance. In this case, tickets may be returned to theatre box offices before curtain up.
