Yuri Grigorovich’s legendary Spartacus will run at Madrid’s Teatro Real for six days in succession.
This Bolshoi Ballet production will be accompanied by the Madrid Sinfonica, the Theatre’s resident orchestra.
The Bolshoi is awaited with great excitement in the Spanish capital,
especially since classical ballet has not really taken root in Spain and even at the country’s chief theatre
there are not more than 2-3 ballet productions a year.
